She turned me into a newt!

In 2004 Marion County, Indiana, Superior Court Judge Cale Bradford added ludicrous language to the divorce decree of Thomas E. Jones, Jr. and Tammy U. Bristol. Judge Bradford ruled in an otherwise uncontested divorce and custody agreement that Jones and Bristol, both practicing , could not expose their son to "non-mainstream" religious beliefs. Judge Bradford reasoned that since the boy was sent to that exposure to these so called "non-mainstream" religious beliefs would subject the boy to abuse from his classmates. I'm not making this up folks! In other words, Judge Bradford used the age old "think of the children!" cry to justify his and attempt to strip these parents of their fundamental to raise their child as they see fit.

I Got Better.

In what may have been the most obvious decision the Indiana Court of Appeals has made this century the decided unanimously to overturn Judge Bradford's prejudicial ruling. Hopefully my and friends will vote unanimously to appreciate my use of quotes for the headlines of this post, as Judge Bradford is far more absurd than anything the Monty Python gang could ever conceive!
